About me.

Assalamualaikum and Hello!

1. I'm Sarah Nabila Bt Saidon and you can call me Sarah. I'm from Kluang, Johor and currently struggling to complete my degree program.

2. I would say that I'm a novice user. I know the basic and common computer skills and definitely looking forward to learn more.

3. I do know how to use basic Microsoft software. I can differentiate the different hardware and install it by referring closely to the manual given or by Googling it.

4. I've experienced learning via the computer before. For example; i-learn, padlet and etc.

5. During my practicum, I did use computer as part of my teaching process once or twice. I also asked my students to submit essays via e-mail and use Facebook as a medium to share information regarding English.

6. Since students nowadays are exposed to technology at young age, they are more interested in lessons that incorporate technology/computer. That triggers their interest in the lesson and the language learning as a whole.

7. I hope I can learn and use different types of software that can be used in my lessons so that I would not depend on worksheet or textbook all the time.

8. The title for my AE is, Learning Styles, Teaching Performance and Academic Achievement of the Graduating Students of Faculty of Education. I chose this topic because I wanted to investigate the relationship of the students learning styles, academic achievement and the lecturers performance whether they are closely related to each other or not. My supervisor is Madam Hamimah. I've completed the first three chapters and had conducted a pilot study last semester. I'm currently waiting for the green light to proceed with the next step.
